Visit to Silk Museum - Social, Cultural and Spiritual

Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Y12- Y14 6th Form 2 Year: 2023 - 2024

After two wonderful workshops by the  Silk Museum staff, we visited the Silk Museum in Macclesfield. We explored all the Egyptian artifacts and learnt all about the Egyptian times. We also looked at the looms and got to explore some silk. We all listened well and took part in trying to write our names in hieroglyphics.
