Communication Team

Every class now has a Communication Representative. These reps lead the classes in recording and applying communication strategies. 

Communication Representatives (Comm Reps) form an important part of the communication support service at Park Lane Special School by working closely with the Speech and Language Therapy team, OT and behaviour support to maintain and develop the total communication environment at school.  

Our communication team is led by specially trained staff who lead on the implementation of communication plans, running communication assessments, creating high quality resources and facilitating training sessions.
