Macmillan Coffee Afternoon- Moral, Social and Spiritual

Lesson: British Values

Charity, Community, Responsibilities & Empathy. The pupils all enjoyed baking cakes to support raising money for Macmillan. Members of Treacle and the 6th form worked together well and showed good responsibility when serving the cakes and drinks to both pupils and visitors who attended the fundraising afternoon. 

This event helps our pupils support the wider community and develop empathy for others. In addition when baking the cakes the pupils develop their skills of working as a team, deciding on and undertaking different roles and appreciating each other’s effects.
