In our Community sessions we have really enjoyed learning about Chinese New Year and the traditions associated with the time of year. We made our own class Dragon and took part in Dragon dancing. We also sampled different Chinese Food and communicated if we liked or did not like each one. We made a traditional wishing tree and cleaned our classroom, as this washes away any bad spirits, ready for our celebrations. We learnt about the giving of gifts and red envelopes and enjoyed watching a firework display.
