Barnaby attend LMT SEND Music day. 

Spiritual- 

• sense of enjoyment and fascination in learning about themselves, others and the world around them
• use of imagination and creativity in their learning

Social-

• use of a range of social skills in different contexts, for example working and socialising with other pupils, including those from different religious, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds
• willingness to participate in a variety of communities and social settings, including by volunteering, cooperating well with others and being able to resolve conflicts effectively

Cultural-

• willingness to participate in and respond positively to artistic, musical, sporting and cultural opportunities

On 21st March, Barnaby Class went to Congleton Town Hall to participate in the first ever Love Music Trust (LMT) SEND Music Day. Some came with parents or carers and some arrived with school staff, to allow as many as possible to attend. We got the opportunity to meet some of our peers from Springfield School as well as participating in a range of musical activities such as welcome songs, movement songs, exploring instruments and noisy balloons, parachute games, and even making our own alien sounds using a theramin. 

There were lots of smiles and clear signs of enjoyment from students, parents, carers and staff and LMT are keen to make this at least an annual event.
