We're a Music Mark School!

We're excited to announce that we have been awarded The Music Mark. This award comes via our local music Hub the Love Music Trust, who we work closely with across the school, from The  Adventures with Rex event in the Infants to PBuzz lessons for our KS3 classes as well as Nichola being the chair of their steering group. 

The Music Mark shows a committment to music across school. We really value the power that music has as a tool for learning. Songs play a key part in most, if not all classes during the day and there are a wide range of musical sessions that we do in class as part of our Values curriculum, Early Years curriculum as well as using music in PE, Music Therapy sessions and as a leisure activity. We also have the Park Lane Choir too. We're really proud of the work we do and this Music Mark demonstrates our committment to continuing to develop our music education here at Park Lane.
