Treacle Class visit St Alban's Church

Treacle class had the great pleasure of visiting St Alban's Church in Macclesfield today. We were shown around by our fantastic host, Karyn Johnson. Karyn gave us a very interesting tour of the church and explained the history of the church and how the church operates on a day-to-day basis. We had a chance to see the nave, the sanctuary and the confessional amongst many other things. Some of the students were brave enough to pretend to take confession. The trip will enable us to better understand aspects of Christianity and has provided us with a really positive and fulfilling community visit. All students were really well behaved and showed a great deal of interest, some of them asking some really insightful questions. They did Park Lane School proud.
